PHIL REEVES

Phil Reeves is a retired police sergeant and patrol watch commander who served in the San Gabriel Valley for many years. After retiring, he joined the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as a volunteer patrol chaplain, serving the deputies and staff of the Malibu/Lost Hills Station, as well as community members facing crisis or trauma.

Phil is also a nationally board-certified chaplain. He holds graduate degrees in theology and the arts and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry.

Phil is honored to serve as Darcy’s “Plus One” at this year’s Reyes Adobe Days Parade.

DEPUTY DARCY

Darcy is a certified Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) K9 assigned to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Malibu/Lost Hills.

Darcy serves the Deputies and staff. She is a fixture at the station and available during times of crisis or after stressful calls. She also supports our citizens in critical moments.

She loves all people, especially kids! At home she enjoys long walks, belly rubs, squeaky chew toys and snuggles.

Darcy was trained three years for her facility dog duties by Guide Dogs of America (accredited by Assistance Dogs International).  Her service was made possible by GDA’s generous donation.
